Turkmenistan and Ten Thousand

Tons of good this week in the form of sunshine, $10 bills on the ground, strong clinical data, stronger coffee, really lovely people and friends, and, excitingly, a blog reader from Turkmenistan.  Or at least a location hit from a web bot whose IP address is tied to Turkmenistan-- counting it!

To top it all off, continuing in millenial spirit of celebrating any and all occasions, I turn 10,000 days old today!  I will spare you all (all 3 of you readers) from a maudlin quote about living each day to the fullest, but I will say I am grateful that the vast majority of my first 10K days alive have indeed been pretty full.  To paraphrase Jarvis Cocker in a live recording of one of my most favorite songs, "Thanks for making it a great [10000 days], here's to [10000] more, alright."

To add to the goodness-- some guest feature banana pictures from my aunt, my friend Pete, and the good folks at the Portland Marathon who send out the abundant advertisement emails.
