Bananas and Brightness

Ashamedly, I missed a September blog post by mere hours! So I am promising two in October to make it up to my loyal followers out there.

There's a lot going on out there in my self-centered life and in the world at large; a lot of sad things: natural disasters, genocides, Joel Osteen on mute on the TV in front of me right now, fast moving diseases, fractured wrists and hearts! But there's bright things too.  I'm choosing to share some brighter moments from the world at large, all involving bananas, all seen thru the iPhone lens of mine or my friends. 

Belize: A little Central American, a little Caribbean, a lot Banana! 

This vacation was too fun, and not just because I lost 7 pounds of body weight due to incessant sweating.

It could be nice to see some banana representation from some readers who I know will see this eventually and are a bit lacking in participation, shall we say. I'm thinking France, England or Pittsburgh [Looking at you ML, MS, EF!].

You know what they [I] say: if you look for something, you can find it.  So keep looking for the brightness! And look for bananas too, while you're at it.
