2018 in Review

It's done, we did it, another year over. Carly's bananas had a not too eventful year in terms of blog posts. I took a major hiatus that was most definitely not in accordance with my 2018 new year's resolution of writing on the blog 2x per month! So, sure, it's disappointing to fail a New Year's resolution, especially by March which is about the time I slowed down in writing. But, there's something about failure that makes other successes come to the forefront.

In 2018 I still saw bananas, and many of you did too. Lots of friends got in touch with me to share what they've seen, and some dear people even got me some pretty sweet banana themed gifts. My room is starting to get a bit of a fruit salad feel going on. Even though I wasn't always posting here, I posted more to instagram and I still wrote a lot. Over 10,000 words in fact. Most of them are about love or break ups or my mom, but I wrote them nonetheless. I want to share a recap of all the banana pics I kept track of through 2018. Some of them are still missing I'm sure, so I may add them later as I come across them. But in the meantime, enjoy all the banana scenes and sidewalks, and here's to new beginnings and new challenges ahead. Keep looking for bananas and looking for good!
