The Phenomenon Elucidated

While I want this blog to be about more than just bananas, I figure I need to start by proving to my readership (aka my 1 friend and maybe my brother) that the bananas on sidewalks thing is a thing.  Here's a fraction of the pictures I've taken in the last 6 months proving this point.  Mind you, I am pretty liberal when it comes to identifying bananas.  Whole bananas, end nubs and rotten, blackened, stuck-to-the-sidewalk peels all count.

I see all kinds.  From freshly half-eaten bananas...

To deserted and desecrated shells of their former ripe selves.

There are bananas that blend in.....
and bananas that stand out.

Bananas in the day.

Bananas in the night.

A lot of blurry, ugly, trashed bananas.

But occasionally, if you're lucky, you'll find a nice one that was clearly appreciated, but perhaps misplaced.
